I'm getting it, although I may get it a day after its release.Can't wait for the multiplayer as now you can shoot through walls. I hated it when people just hid behind a board and shooting you with you shooting them with no effect.

yea i got an "advance copy" and beat it this past weekend(not on realistic tho, you are gonna need 4 coop 4 that). will def be playing this online/coop when i get back from vegas next tuesday. Great game. You can shoot enemies thru structure as long as its sheer enough(plywood,sheetmetal etc.) Graphics greatly improved, along with much better ai teammates and opposition. The run button is a godsend. The only drawback that i see is that you have to start at the bottom with your rank again. It seems that you get bonuses for your old rank but it doesnt carry over(this couldve been just my copy tho).There is also additional weapon capacity in campaign. 4 player coop is def gonna be sick. Looking forward 2 multiplayer. Hopefully it drops tomorrow instead of wed.

Limbo, I was under the impression they killed 4 person coop story. They have 4 person coop terrorist hunts. but I read in IGN that the coop is two person--and is seamless with the single player--so the host is playing the complete single player controlling two AI, and the coop is just afourth person with no AI.

Sucks since I loved the 4 person coop, but this way you can have people jump in and out wihtout disrupting your game.

Yea that sucks Zab. Just a couple weeks ago i seen a dev touting the 4way coop. Well maybe they can patch it in down the road. Regardless tho the game still kicks ass. Def more challenging this time around also.

Same here got my "advanced copy" yesterday before launch and I'm almost done myself. Realistic is def a pain the ass. And yea looks like they took some tips from COD such as sprinting and the bullet impact through structures. The AI is finally fixed to me just because in the original vegas they seemed to just slow you down whereas now they actually help you out. And Idk about you i know you said you didnt get the bonuses but I know when i put my copy in I was automatically greeted by a Welcome back Rizzo0 and I had unlocked all of this crap just because of my rank in the previous game. And lastly yea I dont think there is 4 player Co-op only 2 player. Ahh sucks but its still a big improvement over the last game and I'm sure everybody is gonna like it!

is it true that once you pick up a gun from a dead body, you have unlocked it? I wonder if this is true with the "special" gun you can supposedly only get with the limited edition vegas 2 that is $10 more. because I was planning to get the limited edition just for that purpose.

that sucks, I really don't think I will get it unless they eventually make it 4 person coop. I really don't see myself playing the multiplayer on it, I was mainly buying for coop.

there will be lots of coop terrorist hunt maps. Story mode will only be 2 player. Idon't think something like that is easily patched.

The multiplayer is still my favorite multiplayer game to date. I hope they haven't screwed it up in Vegas2.

I am definitely pumped for this. This game kept my attention for 10 months...and would still have if COD4 didn't come out. There were 8 additional maps put in for multiplayer and coop t-hunts for download.

Love this game. Haven't done story mode yet. did 4 person t-hunts and then some multiplayer.

Good things:
=Better graphics than Vegas...but not quite as good as COD4.
=Better rewards system for unlocking guns and ranking up--like COD4.
=Sprinting. (but no melee--if there was, it would almost be COD4)
=Cover system is the same as before. Best cover system in any shooter.
can get your own team together for a ranked match.
=More game modes---but haven't tried all of them out.

Bad things:
=Set spawn points. This encourages spawn camping like in the first game if you are playing a team deathmatch.
=Three of the available 14 maps are from older RB6's. It's kind of disappointing in that it would be nice if they were all new maps in this game with old maps avail for DLC. Still, 11 new multiplayer maps is pretty good.

This is a nice change of pace from COD4. This rewards more patient players, taking cover and being tactical in your deployment (although while nobody knows the maps, it's nothing but a killfest since you can't even tell people where to go).

The cover system is still what makes this game for me in addition to how vertical these maps can get.

It's different from COD4 and a good addition to a shooter fan's library. COD4 captures you from the first play because of how visceral and fast it all is. V2 requires you to get to know the game a little bit more to fully appreciate it.

true, true. well stated zab, I do like the sprint and I wish I could melee. the graphics to me look the same as the 1st one did, but maybe it looks better on the 360, it seems from their site that it was made for the 360 then ported to ps3. I loved the 1st one and this is shaping up to be better, but still COD 4 is the King! now if only COD 4 had a cover system....
I will have a hard time deciding between this, cod (with the update and new maps pending) and warhawk, also with new map/vehicle (again) and troop weapons. too many good games crowding my time
