Tomahawk this game has potential for the change I'm looking for, I think the were prior posts of GTA4 but the online possibility looks like tons of fun.

dude my xbox magazine was talking about the online features of GTA and it just sounds amazing. Some of the things you can do are really cool and the fact you can just have 16 people ****ing around in the same world is cool. I just hope you can use cheats in this game when not playing the story mode because I love messing around with all the cheats when I'm not doing missions.

I wonder how many annoying little kids we are going to hear
when this game comes out and we attempt to play publicly.Then the gangsta persona people try to have *sigh*.....Online multiplayer is always amusing.

Wow, this seems like it's going to be really sweet.
I thought it was just going to be like every other GTA game, fun at first but very boring after a while. But now I'm really excited for this game.
The thing that scares me is "any weapon in the game can be fired while behind the wheel". So I guess they mean rocket launchers too? Oh boy...sigpicComment

But you can do other things together like go bowling and shoot darts. Its like a virtual world. Could you imagine the DSA GTA4 bowling league?sigpicComment

Out of curiosity Gino, have you never played a GTA?
This game does have massive potential. Not only will it be a great single player game but they're finally putting some MP into the series.
I've said since it was announced that I will definitely get this game. Anyone who may want help or just want to run around in the same world can always ask. I know I'll be "working" hard to get the 1000 gs and unlock everything in it.
Christ - About the cheats. I'm willing to bet they'll have a seperate option similar to Crackdown (Keys to the City mode) where all cheats are available but it doesn't actually save any progress.
Anyone on the fence about this one is crazy not to even rent it at least.Comment

that's cool because I imagine if you used them w/o something like that it would disable the achievements. They have to have something with the cheats because to me I really think cheats are apart of the GTA series I mean they put so many of them into the game. I can't wait for this game though, I wonder if cheats can be enabled or disabled in online play because I would definitely want to use them in the free roam MP mode.

Tom I actually have played the GTA series which started on Playstation. I was huge into GTA3 and the Vice City one. I only played vice City for a while then got sick of it because I was just sick of the same stuff. I never even played San Andreas, cause it was the same crap. But this one looks much different and I think the online play could be extraordinary.sigpicComment

Ok gino, just checking lol.
To date I've gotten 100% on all three GTA's. (I know there are 5 but the first 2 didn't have completion percentages and weren't sandbox oriented). So I'm looking forward to having a bunch of DSA to rob banks with and hopefully have some co-op missions.
Just imagine if there was co-op for more than 2 or 4 players. Think of the possibility of 16 DSA working together to rob a bank or destroy some poor gang. I think that's incredible... in a sort of sick way lol.Comment

Munch, I think there is a game coming out that is strictly for that type of gameplay. InLimbo posted about it before and I've read about it. I forgot the name of the game, but I think it's being made by one of the guys who created the GTA franchise.
