Lots of people appreciate the banners and avatars i make but recently we have had problems setting them to appear automatically so here is the HOW TO !
When i send you a message about the banner,I usually send you the final resultsand/or the code where it is if not here is the link of the account on PHOTOBUCKET where i personnaly host every BANNER & AVATAR of this site:
so go there and check often to either see the new stuff or the updates (ranks) on your own banner/avatar.
once on this site,
1- Find your banner or avatar
2- If AVATAR, click on it(YOUR AVATAR) it will bring you to a second page with only your avatar on it, RIGHT CLICK ON THE IMAGE AND SAVE IT TO YOUR COMPUTER.
3-If BANNER, Under your banner images there is 3 spaces with different codes in it:
URL
TAG
IMG
The one you want is ''TAG''.
4- COPY that link for the moment(for dummies) double-click the left button of the mouse in the second box (TAG)so it is highlighted, then right click on the highlighted section choose ''COPY''
5-NOw here is the tricky part, listen CAREFULLY ! for complicated reasons of programing, if you go into your account VIA the left side menu and make any changes there IT WONT WORK!!, or in any case it is very complicated.
the correct way to do it :
6- On the main page of the site (www.dsa.ctrlfreak.net)from there, right under the TITLE : DARK SIDE ALLIANCE STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT CLAN
there is a menu starting with : HOME ' FORUM ' SIGN UP ' APPLICANTS and finally CLAN ROSTER--------> clikc on FORUM
7-Then on the RIGHT SIDE of the screen right UNDER the GREY DSA banner ther eis another MENU with the following options:
FAQS--> SEARCH--->MEMBERLIST--->USERGROUPS--->MEDALS--- >PROFILE--->PM
8- PROFILE IS THE ONE YOU CLICK, scroll down the boxes , (by the way take some time to fill up info about yourseflf its fun to read and it tightens the family circle), go to the first BIG SQUARE BOX entitled ''SIGNATURE''
9- Now its time to paste your signature tag in this box(for dummies) right click and choose ''PASTE''
10- Here comes the TRICKY PART, naturally the code you copy paste looks like this :
ex:
YOU WANT TO SIMPLIFY THIS LIKE SO :

In other words DELETE the last part (3rd line) of code ''alt= -- up to-- .com leave the '' add a slash and a > instead .(exactly like orange line )
11- Under the big square, the 6th option is '' ALWAYS ATTACH MY SIGNATURE'' make that a ''YES''
FOR THE AVATAR
scroll down a little further, to ''AVATAR CONTROL PANEL''
FIRST BOX ''upload avatar from your machine'' CLICK ON THE SEARCH BUTTON, SLECT YOUR AVATAR FROM YOUR COMPUTER (SEE STEP 1&2 ABOVE)
AND CLICK OK.
Once all this is done CLICK ON THE SUBMIT BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE..
THAS FINALLY IT !
