Well I won't be there at midnight, But Frell and I are going to be away most of the afternoon on Thursday to see Episode 3. Conicidently it's also my Birthday, so there might be some evening events also. *shrug* who knows.
For the record...seeing Star Wars is not exactly what I would have picked to do on my birthday. This is how the life as a Slave goes.
I got my ticket online to go see the midnight show with my buddy. Gonna go to the Majestic theater in Memphis, Tennessee (it's got a digital screen).
By this time tommorow I will see the opening segment, so soon, so soon. Can't wait any longer, arhhrhrhrhrhrhrh!!!!!!
same here , tomorrow can't wait , n yea i got mine online to at CineMark , tho i am gonna get there way early cuz of the big line ( don't wanna be the last person n line , n to find a seat .
Kas when is ur b-day mine is the 20th of may , right after Revenge Of the Sith , what kind of crap is that lol .
My birthday is ON the release date...May 19th. If that does not piss you off enough...Frell and I don't have to pay to get into the movies. We don't have to stand in line either. And there is always a seat open for us, center of screen, middle of theater.
Best one since Empire. Dialogue was still atrocious but Anakin and Padme were more passable in their roles--still think they were both miscast. Nonetheless, the storyline is awesome, the visual effects unreal, obi-wan continues to be the best actor out of all of them, and the fights are sweet.
End of an era spanning my childhood to now. It was sad to realize as they were wrapping up the movie that it was symbolically wrapping up the first half of my life (or maybe third, who knows how long we'll live).
You're the best! Around! Nothings gonna ever keep you down!
I agree that it was the best since empire. Obi Wan was the best Jedi ever (in this series) and still is. He McGregor's acting was great, as Zabka said, but movie seemed a little choppy. The beginning was most choppy but the rest of the movie smoothed itself out.
Having read the book a month before the movie came out, i was pleased with how they put it together. It was suprisingly accurate with the events in the book. I reccommend reading the book. It gives more the fight scenes than the movie ever could.
The special effects are the best I have seen in a while. The battle over couresant was magnificent [sp]. Greivus was a punk. They made him out to be badder than he really was. Samuel L Jackson did great as Mace Windu. I personally liked Natalie Portman as Padme but definately think the dialog could and should have been better.
Yes, Chewy is in the movie. . .for like 10 seconds. . .but he's there. Okay, that's my review. The short version anyway. Hope you all love the movie. I know i did. I just kept getting pissed off when the guy next to me kept making Wookie noises!! Later.
