Well,

I am starting to fell really jealous right about now.

And I will tell you why.

In the next few weeks I will be receiving large amounts of money from graduation.

And I am wanting to try something new.

Now I would just like everyone's personal opinion.

I already have an Xbox. But what I don't have is the experience of the PS3 or the Wii.

So I want to know you opnions on the two consoles.

I know that Mui Rdaug and a few others play smash brothers on the Wii but playing it in gamestop the other day... The controlls were a bit confusing.

As for the PS3. I know we have several divisions in that general area and I would like two see what it's like.

But yet still fixated on the Wii.

Can you guys help me?

I'd say if you want something new, go with the PS3. The very limited amount I've time I've played the Wii, I haven't enjoyed, where as the PS3 I've loved (but that was playing Portal).

If you like the 360, than you probably would like the PS3, because it's nearly the same thing from games to PSN, although it's not nearly as polished as the 360.

If you want something completely different and want to try something new, go with the Wii. But if you do, be warned you will not get as many good games for it as you would with the PS3 or 360.

Just abit of a warning from a Wii Owner.Nintendo is the only one thats bringing out quality games on their own console(which makes sense).The third parties that nintendo allows to create games are pretty much shitty with a few exceptions.I mean.....whats up with Gingerbread ninja and Anubis?What the hell is nintendo thinking?Quick Cash?I strongly believe so.T

The good games that I can list from the top of my head are:

Virtual Console games(being able to download Old Nintend/Sega/N64/NES/Neo-Geo and Turbo Graphx)
Wii Ware(Just recently introduced and alot like xbox arcade yet wii ware is still young,but they will be introducing a new wii ware title each week.)
thats the best wii titles I could think of at the moment.Nintendo may be making the quick cash,but they are slowly going to lose fans just like the gamecube by allowing shitty games to be made.The reason the Wii continues to be popular is because the Virtual Console,First Party games and the silly advertisiments about "Wii want to play".Nintendo needs to get their act together and stop allowing **** from being made on their console.

I hate to say it,but get a PS3 better :D.Besides that,Metal Gear Solid 4 is coming out in a few more weeks,you have Socom soon,The Playstation store,etc,etc

If you're going for a system that will keep your attention then I say go with the PS3 but if you want a system to play casually then go with the Wii.

I think it depends on what first party titles excite you more. If you like mario kart, brawl, zelda games, etc, then go with the wii. If warhawk, socom, haze, & MGS peak your interest go the ps3 route. I wouold look to what exclusive titles you want to play since you can get 3rd party games for any system. If you do go the ps3 way though, wait untill June 12th. That's when MGS and the new bundle come out. So you get the 80gig,(which some are having a hard time finding), MGS, and the dualshock 3 for $499.

I may later on down the road, But it's a bit to pricey.

And after receiving the scholarship to I.R.C.C.

I'm better off taking that getting, and taking what classes I want there.

They have something called the Knight center. And they focus on everything computers there so hopefully I can pick up some things while Im there.

This wasn't planed until about a month ago.

But like I said maybe later down the road I may move to Orlando and attend Full Sail.
