This wasnt even on my radar, i thought it was a RTS. After checking out the pc review im going to def consider buying this. I guess we all have to wait and see how it is implemented into the consoles. Voice chat is going to be important in this one and needs to be done right b4 its considered for purchase.

I was all set to pick it up today then i seen the teamxbox review.

I know there are demos coming out for the 360 and ps3, so i might just wait for that now to test it out myself(unless ign posts a stellar review).

p.s I did just find out that you can go up against bots in online multiplayer which is cool(just thought i'd add that if it helps anyone).

I think I have played this game already. It's called Frontlines: Fuel of War. In fact I think all they changed was the settings.
We are all gonna have to live in da woods some day, cause the government is gonna take our guns away.

Well i dont know if its a good game or not, but after playing frontlines and seeing quake wars they dont look that similar. Given that they are all in the same battlefield type genre is all i know(same genre as swbf). It seems frontlines took a more sim approach to their weapons and vehicles whereas the alien weapons and vehicles in etqw stick with a more arcade approach. The game landscapes and mini-objectives kinda set this apart from frontlines also. Its also just a 16 player game as compared to the larger capacity frontlines has to offer. It might at least be a good rental until Unreal Tourney comes out for the 360. If anyone doesnt want to wait for the ccnsole demo you can easily find the pc demo online.

(update)It seems that there is one other distinguishing factor from Frontlines, that game is actually good. Heres a link to the ign reviews pissing on this.
