    Installing a Turbo

I just recently bought a turbo kit for my 1999 Acura Integra LS I was wondering if any one new of a site or a place where I can get a manual on how to install it.

No problem, I can walk you through installing it real quick.

You might want to write this down so you have it to look over.

First, unpack all the components and make sure everything is there and nothing looks damaged. You don't want to get halfway through this and find out that the B.O.V is bad.

Second, remove the intake hose and air box assembly from your engine. There should just be a few bolts holding it all together.

Next, line up the inlet tube for the turbo exactly how it needs to attach to the throttle body.

Grab a roll of duct tape and start wrapping.

Step 5, start car and pray that it forgets it's a Honda.

Seriously though, if you have never done anything like this before I would highly suggest paying a professional shop to do the work. There are a million things that can go wrong with a turbo kit. Trust me you don't want to spend the next month chasing down a boost leak. The last turbo kit I know of that was installed on an integra had so many transmission problems ( it produced too much power for the stock tranny ) that the guy finally took it off and put a nitrous kit on instead. Not trying to scare you out of doing the kit, just letting you know that it's a pretty involved process.

I have a rendezvous with Death, at some disputed barricade. It may be he shall take my hand and lead me into his dark land, and close my eyes and quench my breath, it may be I shall pass him still. I have a rendezvous with Death, on some scarred slope of battered hill. And I to my pledged word am true, I shall not fail that rendezvous.

You make a great point Kerry. Along the lines of "you make a car turn, then stop, THEN go."

get the intake and exhaust done then get an intercooler and turbo timer, then have a shop do it, I put a turbo timer in my 300zx turbo, it protects the turbo and makes it last longer

I already have just about everything I need to support it including the turbo itself. It is fine to install it and everything. I am planning on taking it to a place called Dyno Labs for them to tune it with the VAFC that I am buying. I have a mechanic that used to work on cars for a living to help us out. I just needed a diagram but I found something thanks though guys.

Just make sure you get a big ass loud exhaust pipe to finish it off. (If you don't have one already that is).
