After cashing in my first parlay win for the year, you realize with that $20 you bet, it turned into $140. For the year you now are up $100 the entire year so far. But it gets better because there are 14 more weeks to earn money with. Its my job to get you more money. The casinos want to give it to us, we will take it.
So as I turn to week 4, I realize this may be the hardest week I have ever faced to make three picks. With the bye weeks we are already strapped for guaranteed winners. But what really gets me is all the rivalry games this week. Because ther is an extra incentive when two rival teams play each other. Usually the home team has that advantage. But the point spread are so big on most games its very difficult to take those home teams because the other team will still play them tough.
At Carolina -7 Atlanta PICK: Panthers
So we turn to the team everyone picked last week. Carolina. Very good team, against a team that hasn't seen any real competition yet Atlanta. Carolina's defense only needs to shut down Michael turner. their offense is ready to rip Atlanta this week. I expect a two TD win.
9/28 1:00 ET At Cincinnati -3.5 Cleveland PICK: Bengals
Another rival game. Bengals looked pretty good last week, but that's the only reason I'm taking them. Looking and comparing injury reports it seems Cleveland will be missing some key guys on defense and the offensive line. They are in trouble this year and so is the QB derrick Anderson. This will be a close game but Bengals will pull it out.
9/28 4:15 ET At Dallas -11 Washington PICK: Cowboys
I know what you are thinking. That's a hellava lot of points. I feel the same but came to this conclusion. Cowboys beat the Packers at Lambeau Field by 11, they should be able to beat the skins by 11 at home. I will be honest that I don't like the rivalry game concept, but i think the Skins are not that good of a team. Jason Campbell will get the rude awakening this weekend.
Other good picks:
(There are no other picks because of the toughness of the week. Stay tuned for week 5)
