SWBF Season!!!!

In case you hadn't heard!

Hey all, trying to get the word out to as many people as we can. SonicArmy is putting up a Star Wars Battlefront Season. So far, everyone who signs up will be entered into a draft to pick players so obviously this will be an interclan thing...consider it a test run for a Clan Season. Fizzo is waiting until Sunday June 12th at the earliest to close the enrollment. We are currently trying to find a corporate sponsor to award the 8 winning individuals. Get on board! This is gonna be a blast!

yea, there are some DSA members supporting your seasonal games. Does sound like fun, and glad you came to invite everyone here.

Yet when DSA invited BS to sign up on the Ctrl League site, BS members not only did not like the idea but put DSA down for even making a ladder, and then LOCKED the forum.

I can only assume why the forum was locked...was it because you did not want it bumped? Was is such a debated topic that you rather forget about it, ignore it as if it does not exsist?

One more question KillerCanadian...
Do you expect to get respect without having to give it?

Wow, where do I start!

First of all, do not lecture me on respect! If you talk to anyone in the community who knows me, I think you'll find I am one of the more respectful members around! Ask RaTiX, we have collaborated on stuff 5 months before you even registered for DSA! He and I were two of the first people to get the clan activity back on track most likely before you even owned the game so don't talk to me about respect!

Second, I posted the above out of respect! I know the talent in DSA and thought it would be great to see it working with other clans FOR FUN! I was trying to get you guys involved in something...that is all. DSA has been around a long time and I respect it's accomplishments. My intentions above were honorable!

Lastly, I locked the DSA ladder thread. Not because I feared it would be bumped, not because I feared the competition for SonicArmy, but because I was stopping the flaming! Had it not been locked, it would've gotten worse and nobody needs that at this time. If I feared it that much don't you think I would've just deleted it?

Final bit of information for all of you. If you are flamed by a Black Sun member, it is their opinion only...they do not speak for the entire clan. We have not set leadership structure and members are free to voice their opinions.

You ask if I expect respect...absolutely! Find one thread where I flamed DSA for anything they have done! I should be asking you the question, not vice versa!

Attn RaTiX: If you read this I apologize if I seem out of line but I will not be disrespected by some n00b who knows nothing about me. I will say no more on the subject...I have said my peace.

Thanks for replying KC, I think all of that needed to be said and I respect that you went out of your way to clear things up. I was curious, you answered my questions, and anyone else's. I hate flaming as much as anyone else, and can understand why you would not want that sort of thing happening on your forums, and it won't happen here.

It's all good. You are right, I don't know you either. That is part of the reason I posted the Season here. There are far too many DSA members I don't know and would like that to change. In fact I have recently registered at pretty much every clan site. I am trying to be like a global diplomat here!

We'll see if it works...I've done it before!

OK, I went off a little more than I should've and admitted it. If it helps, I issue a formal apology to Kas. Just hit a nerve when I have shown nothing but respect to DSA. You guys are all cool with me, always have been, that's why I posted. I was hoping you'd get involved so I could meet more of ya...nothing more.
