They are making a Valkyria Chronicles Anime, if you are into anime like that then you should check it out when it comes out.

Just now finishing this game up. Took a break from it because the 5th chapter was kicking my ass, until I figured out that a trooper could blow up the barricade blocking one path with a 'nade, and then charge up the hill and take out the anti tank gun placed on the top. The map makes it look like the only way to it is up from the back of the enemy base.

This game does indeed make you think. But if you do not like strategy and tactics, then you will not enjoy this game. If you do, then this game certainly rocks, and rightly so. It should be easy cheap now, although in my opinion, it was certainly worth full price.

I love this game to death, I haven't finished it yet; But the strategies to win are awesome.
