No offense but, shit... shit.... and more shit. I won't begrudge anyone who is looking forward to this. But I will judge it for what it probably is. A movie where all the decepticons want revenge, causing wanton destruction. A new main human character will be introduced possibly while the older cast will make some appearances. The autobots get their asses whupped butt then come back and save the day.
Result: 1) Crappy plot as it is only about revenge
2)Not as much humor
3)Freshness lost as it is a sequel and people know what to expect.

But the action will be probably be good, which is why millions will pay roughly $6.50 to see it.

at some places the matinee is only a dollar. but thats the second run movie places matinee at the "just came out" theatres are usually like 4 to 5 bucks

Movie Prices are silly for me...13.50...but then again I am in the city so its to be expected...On the upside I am in BootLeg central.

Part of me agrees with Cap...movies of this nature rarely come up with something better than the first...But I am keeping an open mind...

I just don't like how the tranformers look. the first one was just OK, but if all the characters, especially the decepticons, looked more like their animated counterpart it would be better for the older nostalgic audience.

I'm eh about this. I can easily wait 'till DVD.

On a side note, I missed the GI Joe trailor. Can anyone post that? I was a huge GI Joe mark. Anyone wanna buy some figures? :D

Michael Bay sucks because as long as you make it off of the screen you may as well be millions of miles to safety. I don't care for action movies or comedies unless they are original or do something really cool.

As much as I like Hugo Weaving in V for Vendetta (a movie I totally thought I'd despise but enjoyed), Frank Welker IS Megatron and his voice for the character is so insane/evil/malevolent that not to have him do the voice just kind of ruined the first movie for me.
