    Handsome Boy Modeling School

    Here you go Jeter

The main guys behind it are Prince Paul (producer for Del La Soul and a bunch of others) and Dan the Automator (sang on the Gorillaz album and much more)

Here are some of the people on the first album
    Del tha Funkee Homosapien
    J-Live
    Sean Lennon
    Miho Hatori
    Mike D
    Don Novello

Here's some of the folks from the second album
    RZA
    Cat Power
    Casual
    Alex Kapranos
    Chester Bennington
    Mike Shinoda
    Jack Johnson
    Cedric Bixler-Zavala
    Mike Patton
    El-P
    Pharrell
    John Oates
    Chino Moreno
    Lord Finesse
    Black Sheep
    Tim Meadows

The name comes from an old Chris Elliot show. The album has songs with "skits" inbetween

Here's a few songs form the first album (So... how's your girl)

That's a collection to show you the difference in the songs. When you have members of De La Soul, Beastie Boys, Cibo Matto, and Sean Lennon (son of John) all on one album you end up with a strange mix

Here's some of the music form the second album (White People)
Rock n' Roll (could never Hip Hop like this)

For the second album you have members of N.E.R.D., John Oates (of Hall & Oates), Faith No More, Wu-Tang Clan, Linkin Park, and Black Sheep

For such odd groupings of musical styles Prince Paul and Dan make it work. You can get both albums off iTunes.

Yep, and I'm a longtime Faith No More fan, so the Mike Patton is a no brainer... if he is doing it, it's going to be pretty nuts on the collaborative side.

Their second album (2004) seems a little less chaotic and more organized than their earlier release (1999). I bought the newer of the two on amazon in mp3 and I'm really happy with it. BTW, it really reminds me of the RZA's album Bobby Digital. If you like Handsome Boy, look into this album. It's a big collaboration, but not THAT large.

Some songs to look into are:
          My Lovin is Digi
          Never Again

... and like 3/4 of the other songs on the album. It's pretty damn good.
