My favorite episode of all time has to be #7 I believe, "Trouble on Arlia." As a fan of the badguy, that episode sold me on DBZ, especially Vegeta and Nappa.

Vegeta and Nappa decide to stop off for a warmup before they get to Earth, so they stop on an alien planet. Let themselves get cpatured then wipeout all their best warriors in a gladiator type confrontation. They destroy the corrupt monarchy and free all the oppressed inhabitants. While Vegeta and Nappa are leaving they are treated as heroes. A male and female who were separated get reunited and embrace with hope and joy. Only to have the planet completely obliterated by Vegeta's Galic Gun.

Yea I really liked DBZ when I got into as a young teenager. The story was kind of corny in a lot of ways but I mean the combat was pretty badass. I think my favorite episode our series of episodes would be...........TO BE CONTINUED.

Its ok if you don't like it Jim. Don't hate my DRAGON BALL Z :D! Hell I love that show, its what got me more into anime dammit. Well I'm starting to prefer reading the manga over the anime now since the quality of anime lately has become extremely shitty( Bleach, Naruto), and their storylines have completely shifted into something slightly goofy and alittle less serious.

If you want quality read the manga, otherwise in the anime you'll get an 50 episodes waiting for Goku and Freeza to kill eachother or another 20 for namek to blow up lol.

Anyway...to each own...

TO BE CONTINUED. Was my biggest problem with this show. It took 500 episodes to kill a guy or 4 episodes for a guy to sit there and go Super Saiyain. But still was a good show I agree with Mui it got me into Anime though it was short lived cause I hate all the stuff on Adult Swim.
