    Weird Flu/Common Cold Cures

    Ok fellas,

I have been Sneezing coughing fevering since wednesday and I feel like poop.
If this doesn;t get better soon i will have to go to the doctor...

But I was wondering if anyone had ancient chinese remedy....loin of yak or something....

    So far I tried:
a 24 hour diet of nothing but gratefruits and RAW garlic.(This one was rather interesting.)
    Tea/ Honey.

Of course tylenol has brought down the fever and nyquil helps me sleep...but any have any ancient gross herbal concoctions I could brew up?

You could try cutting out someone's heart, then placing it within a circle of candles and stabbing it repeatedly with a dagger rubbed with the petals of a Nightshade plant, while whispering the plea, "Sweet Mother, sweet Mother, send your child unto me, for the sins of the unworthy must be baptized in blood and fear."

Wait nevermind thats something else. Just try some eye of newt, lol.

I got one for ya man... This one's proper old school stuff! It's the hot whiskey drink. You might not think it would work, but try it! You need a shot of whiskey per portion, a thick slice of lemon, some of the lemon juice, a tea spoon full of honey and some cloves... you know the ones I mean? Not garlic cloves :) . Oh and boiling water of course! About as much as you'd have in a coffee... Stick the cloves into the lemon wedge if you want to avoid swallowing them when your drinking it! You can add more of any of the above to taste.

This works because the lemon, honey and cloves have powerful stuff in them to fight the flu/cold, the whiskey helps you sleep and feel less sorry for yourself. All this with the hot water allows it into you metabolism quicker! Don't just have one though, as it won't do much... the poison from the sickness will be sweated out of your system the next day along with the hangover.

LOL. That first part is from elder scrolls IV: Oblivion it's the "black sacrament" where you can call an assassin to kill someone for you.

Eye of newt is actually mustard seed, lol.

And I am also just messing with you, I don't think mustard seed is gonna do anything for ya :p I was just going a long with the whole "loin of yak" thing.

This drink my friend is called a Hot Totty! I am not too much of a whiskey drinker but occasionally I indulge in a Hot Totty every now and again. I am not sure if I want to purchase the whiskey and cloves though. I might haul my behind to the closest bar I can find:)

ridiculous and hilarous. I've always wondered what a hot totty was! I like whiskey, but that sounds gross, I'll have to try it next time I'm sick.

My sickness strategy is all liquids, minimal food. I drink water, OJ and tea with lemon&honey all day, then switch to whiskey before bed. You'll have to pee a couple dozen times, but it really helps flush the bad shit out.

This may sound weird...but I love to pee. I drink more fluids and piss more than a pregnet women....MAN DO I LOVE URINATING.

Anyway, actually a hot totty is really flavorful. It sounds gross, but it tastes better than tea in my opinion (Any tea that comes in a box or a tea-bag that is)

Thanks for the head up dooku
