If Pandemic gets this back I fear it may be crap. And to be honest that is not Pandemics fault.....no wait yes it is they sold out to EA and now EA will tell them every aspect of how the game should be. Oh and supposedly that video we all saw a few months ago was pre-rendered. I really hope Pandemic does not screw this one up.

EA has some crap, but Activision is the worst game company on the planet. Think about it... they wouldn't even release Ghostbusters because "it wasn't a titled that could have annual installments". This next COD is 6. Think about that.

and Ubisoft, with their crappy Assassin's Creed and HAWX. Come on. I never thought a cross between Wario Ware, Prince of Persia, and GTA could be THAT bad, but the bad story, boring minigame gameplay and epic douchebaggery of the the main charater almost got me off of video games.

I'll take Dead Space, Rock Band, Skate and Half Life over any four Activision or Ubisoft similar genre titles.

Jeesh man....don't buy anymore shit from LA until they get their shit together. They have poor customer support as it is. One more thing think about how LA pulled the plug on servers without notice even though i'm aware of the note on the box that says they are allowed to do it after 30 days. Another thing was the patch for the PS2 SWBF2. Great huh? Pandemic rushed that game out.

To quote JimJam; "Pump the brakes!!" The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series (for the first 5 installments) was the pinnacle of fluid fun and depth. It offered simple enough mechanics where anyone could have fun with it, but made it deep enough to where you could spend hours upon hours and still not be satisfied with your ability. It also spawned countless imitators in terms of extreme sports franchises. Snowboarding, bmk, motoX, etc. So for that and that alone, Activision cannot be the absolute worst.

OK, now I loved 3, being the first one of the ps2 and a hell of a lot of fun... but think of it this way... they make a huge million selling franchise like THPS, and EA comes out with one teeny tiny game called Skate, and it's like you realize the awesome beast that was THPS was nothing more than a weak little puppy when Skate (which i dont even think sold that well) came in, fishhooked it's eyeballs out and threw boiling water into the sockets... that little puppy has curled up in a hole somewhere scraping together lunchmoney for the new badass.

Not the absolute worst, but when you cut loose Ghostbusters, Brutal Legend and a few other new IP's because "you don't see the potential to exploit them on a yearly basis" you are pretty damn low. Everyone takes off on EA because of Madden and the sports titles, but they aren't announcing Dead Space 2, 3, and 4, in 2009, 2010, and 2011 like Activision does with TH, COD, and don't even get me started on GH... GH 3, rocks the 80's, aerosmith, metallica AND World Tour since Activision has had the franchise for under 2 years? Crazy... especially since the GH series gets DLC. Ok RB is doing the same thing with the beatles game, but that's because it's the beatles and they aren't going to sign off on just being DLC.

Activision used to be a great game house... even in the fledgling years of Pitfall, River Raid, and Chopper Command on the 2600, but now they are a hack company putting out updates on the same game every year. I don't boycott their games, per se, but I wont be buying the COD 6 game whenevevr it comes out... it's too tired of a series.

I think Skate's success was more indicative of the THPS having a monopoly on the genre and getting stale because of it. After the first few big tweaks (manuals, reverts, and getting off the board) there was only so much they could add. I enjoy both offerings though. Both produce a fun factor. I was really into the online community so my perspective may be slightly biased. I've also won several THPS tournaments and met the man himself because I owned at the game, so I have to stick up for it :D

And The prince of persia games, wow.. Thats upsetting to hear you say, Dont forget Rayman and his games, and 27! 27 of the tom clancy games including there previous release HAWX, which will have a toll in sales!!!
