I think 4 or 5 is cool for "taking off the clothes or touching" speech. Kids know what privates are. Teach them early how to strike with a knife and a how to field strip a glock. Everything else is superfluous.

Remember to block internet access for minors on their mobiles untill they're at an age you think it's ok to take the block off. Don't take the mobile providers age restriction option as this won't work as good as you might think. Go for a full block. I work in that industry, so belive me I know...

Ha! This gave me an image of a six year old hanging upside down on a pull up bar blind folded field stripping a handgun.

Kudos for using superfluous so eloquantly.

I agree with both VcElder and Keyser. We can't keep kids off the internet but we can manage it. It's up to us in order to do so...Also I grew up around guns had one in my hand when I was five for the first time. I didn't' know much then but the next time, it was my buddy who showed me his father's...believe it or not it was loaded when he did. I assumed it was not and was about to fire it at my friends face. Luckily I decided that was not best since I had not checked the gun and was happy I did. I guess it resonated in my mind.

Growing up, in Puerto Rico on the front page of the newspaper there was always a bloody body they had discovered from the night before. Sometimes it was someone you knew....it's never too early to teach your children self defense. And as how to guard yourself against predictors. By the age of five I could wield a machete like a sword and could kill if I had to. I grew up in a tough area.

My son is 3 now and I've already started training him to sword fight ( we use lightsabers) and how to defend himself. He's gonna be a tough kid.
