Just Wondering

Hey Guys,

I haven't been active at all much lately, and I must apologize for that. But I'm just getting kinda sick of playing the same style of games. Just look at our list:

GOW2, COD4, Socom....... and so on.

What I was wondering; is anyone else interested in possibly getting into something that's not a shooter?

Maybe like Skate 2, Little big planet, or maybe just something totally off the normal spectrum like Tiger Woods golf.

Just something that is mellow, that we all can just have a fun easy and mellow night of gaming.

Thoughts anyone?

I think there are plenty of titles that folks get together and play. Wether it's a sports title, or Buzz, or a Street Fighter. There are definately non shooter games out there that we play. It's just not feasbale to have a Tiger Woods division as I'm sure only a handfull of people have it.

Shooters is where we came from and the core of the DSA, but there's no reason we can't play other types of games casually on off practice nights.

You should definately check out the new socom first though man. It's so much better than socom3/CA. Come to a Warhawk practice once in a while too Yentis, last week we had a friendly jeep race, that was pretty fun.

A few of us are still waiting/wishing on a SWBF3, i'm sure if it does good We will be big on this game, probably taking over the CoD position.

There other games that the DSA play as well Yentis whether it be on the 360 or PS3. On the 360 some of us play KuF:Circle of Doom, Farycry2, Fable 2, Castle Crashers, Texas Holdem. etc

As for the PS3 I don't really know the side games that people play, but I just listed some of the games that some of us may play on 360.

I'd be up for some racing games as well on the PS3. I have Grand Turismo and also Motostorm Pacific Rift. Thinkin of picking up the new Red Alert. That should be pretty good. I read all the missions are made to support co op play online as well as just the usual RTS style online play.

I've got Worm on the ps3. I've always liked the series so it's awesome to finally have one you can play online.

Yeah i used to love Gran Turismo, lost interest in it after awhile it got kind of repetitive with no new maps on the new races and stuff. I was never into NASCAR so maybe thats why. Warhawk is awesome if you want to kill but in a different way then normal. But there is a huge learning curve so if you try it be prepared to give it some time for you to get better.

i have played warhawk a few times and yes it does have a hard core learning curve. although i think i can handle it. lol maybe?
