I wonder more about how she would react if somebody else were responsible for that mistake. Vick did wrong for sure. But there is an element of holier than thou going on that irks ne.
On a side note, how can it be that killing a person drunk driving is less ofensive (I consider it willful murder once you choose to drive drunk) than killing dogs or shooting your own thigh with an unlicensed gun? You're the best! Around! Nothings gonna ever keep you down!

You know,
Some interesting points there.
First, the death of the dog is a tragedy, and I don't want to make fun of her for that. And Vick was WAYYYYY out of line and inexcusable.
However.
I think you have a GREAT point on what if it were someone else's dog... say the car beside hers in the parking lot, and her seeing the dog in there. Obviously, she made a mistake, and Vick's behavior was intentional, but the end result is the same... a dead dog. If it had been a child?
It's the little ironies that get me... like Ted Kennedy being support by the Women's Rights groups... after Chappaquiddic.
I certainly think people are worth more than their worst act, or none of our lives would be very valuable, but there is something very eyebrow raising about hypocrisy and/or irony.sigpic
