Anyone here a Yard Haunter?

The big day is less tha two months away. Since I moved at the begining of the year, and have had to sink thousands of dollars in my new home, this year is going to be kinda crappy, as it takes almost all year to get all your props and lighting done. So this year for me is going to be kinda bare.

I have my complete cemetary ready. and fog machines. One toe pincher coffin, and a lot of static props. My Zombie costume I've worked on for several years, and is pretty damn well close to this, only I added much more debris, for that "fresh out of the ground" look.:

Well, full crank ghost is fixed and done. Skeleton doctor with torture table w/ decapatated heads and body parts done. 20 ft. Grim Reaper done, and full cemetary with all the tombstones done. Window video completed. Full size spider wrapped victim trapped in web with motorized big spider is ready. Full size Vampire Bride and Groom is ready. And the coffin needs some work.

Just need to get the reflection plexiglass bought, and set up all the electrical stuff. Oh, and put up the walkway fencing. And set up all the strobe lights.

The thing that pissed me off the most, is that my camera died right before Halloween. I tried many different batteries in it, and it just wouldn't turn on.

After Halloween, someone told me to try some different AA batteries, especially made stronger for electronics, the damn thing turned right on. I was furious and sick, that I was so hung up on everything else, that I forgot to try that.

Yentis helped me set up last year in the drizzling cold rain. Thank's for that dude !!, and thanks to DSA Forum member Old gray Dragon for the window video, it was amazing!. This year I'm certainly promoting it more, more lighting, better sound effects, and more actors in the cemetary. I'm going to have video taken, and static pictures. I was hoping because soo many people took pictures of my haunt, that I'd be able to get at least one, but to no avail. :(

I was so ill the other day, someone on Craigslist had a real coffin up for sale for $600.00 !!!, but I'm so broke right now, I can't even pay attention. I'll just have to continue to work on my hand made stuff. I'll post some piccys up soon. ;)

How to do the window video trick. Very f'n cool effect, and very easy to do.

Yeah Rage, I really wish I could've gotten some piccy's or at least some video. I was suprised that some people actually refused to come up, and my wife, or my Mom, would have to go down the driveway, and take the candy to them.

Because Hell or high water, there was NO way they were coming thru the cemetary, past the 20ft. Grim Reaper, go by the skelletal doctor of Death and his screaming sawn apart victims, up thru the huge spider web w/victim, and up to the Witches lair to greet me with my animitronic Reaper standing next to me.

My fave prop has to be my huge reaper with the glowing red eyes. Everyone was terrified that it was going to jump out at them...LOL!! The head on that Reaper is about as big as my damn chest !

I want to make this year even bigger and better. I want to have more witches, maybe evn an animitronic one, a Cemetary caretaker, and perhaps a wiggling person hanging in a noose from one of my trees. Very simple to make, and as you can see here...very disturbing, especially at night..:
