pretty interesting stuff. I wonder it it'll move to cell phones or things like the kindle.

Edit: Completely forgot that M$ uses something like this. I'm not sure if it is in the same hierarchy style as Sony's. Microsoft's is called deep zoom. Here's a sample of it

ha ha....they should called High Res Stalking technology...ha
