It's great you are off probation, but stay clean. You've posted in the past how the junk was wrecking your life. Go a bit more straight edge, be grateful you didn't get screwed by the test and make use of this second chance. The alternative outcome would have just sucked. I understand what your saying Zabka, and your right, it does make sense. I didn't smoke as soon as I got off either. The only thing I did was clean my pipe. But, I should probably stay clean so I can finally get another job somehow. I'm broke and living with my parents so yeah... Staying clean is the best thing I can do at this point in time. I've decided to sell my stash and just grow up.

Good deal, man. Old habits can be hard to break, but it gives you the best chance to get things right. With this economy, it can be hard--and sometimes discouraging. And even if you get a job, can move out, etc things might still feel hard. But it sounds like the path you were on was not going to end anywhere good. This way, you always gave a chance.

Drugs are a first class, one way road to nowhere, besides the Cemetary.

When I was active military, I saw many good soldiers fall prey to this problem. One was a very, very good friend of mine that I even went though Basic with. You couldn't even ever ask for a better friend.

But he was busted on a random drug test.

It broke my heart to see him busted down from a fellow Sargeant like myself at the time, down to a lowly private E2, and then placed under my command, when he was my equal before.

I'm so glad Dax that you realised this before it was too late.

Live well my brother, and please. please stay away from that shit from now on.

The price you pay, for the high you get, just isn't worth it my friend.
