The paint on some of the edges is a little chipped. But that was more so from the tape you used when packing then anything else. Some chipping around the mount holes too, but nothing too bad.
I can't use mine on my car though, due to retarded NY state laws requiring both front and back plates.

I remember those blue and yellow plates back when I lived in Syracuse in the 70's.
Gah, I wonder why they went back to that. I thought they were ugly back then.
