I have another problem. It's extra credit so it's not that important, but I just want to compare answers.
A right cirular cone is constructed from a paper disk with radius 1 ft. by cutting out a sector subtended by an angle of pheta radians and join the tow ends. find the angle that result in the largest possible volume.
I used Volume = 1/3 pi R^2 h
C= 2piR
This guy explains it well. Here
i got an answer of .58 radians and max volume of 7.10 ft^3
Do you see what time i posted this? It's 12:06 am and I'm doing calc problems!lol
