TK Support Group - Welcome Jim

Jim, We are here for you.

Let it out, no one will judge. But the first step is admitting you have an issue. I know that sometimes it's hard to deal with things. And you just want to pick up that grenade and sling it over a hill and not care who is there. But, Jim, we care. and we care about you. We are waiting...

Well sometimes you have to be brought down a notch or 2 before you will realize that troubles exist.

        I don't have a problem....I am just fine.

Take last night as an example:

Did nothing unusual.....played my game. The outcome: tons of nade and rifle kills with ZERO tks. That includes playing super aggressive at times and also just camping.

On the flip side: I, that is I got tkd twice. Once by ND with a knife. Still scatching my head on that one!! Yeh, the action was sort of close to us, but I was camping behind a wall turn and I turn to my right and then SWIPE.

The second one was by Tony. There he was fiddling and farting around with an enemy taking forever to drop the guy, so I took the initiative and peformed the "whirley bird" and took him out. Tony had all the time to throw a nade or just shoot the guy but no, he had to throw a grenade AFTER I shot the guy as I was walking up the steps to inform him that I just cleaned up his mess!!

So there everyone...I don't have a problem. I am just fine.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. This is a text book case, Jim is showing the second stage of his problem......

          Denial

You have to realize Jim that we are here for you and no one is going to think less of you. You have to accept that you have a problem, that is the only way you will rehabilitate.

I just really don't undertand why I have the most TKs in our socom batallion. I will go for days without a TK, but once I do commit the act....well, it's like look at Jim. I get it all the time from Tony and others, but no one raises a stink when either they did it to someone else or to me. I guess I am just misuderstood.

I have a solution to your dilemma Jim.

Remember, you tend to forget what your own behavior causes... we are here to help you understand "why" you have such a high TK percentage. When you kill one of us and an enemy at the same time, it's easy to forget that you TK'd... but the rusher you TK'd who had the drop on the enemy you also killed finds it difficult to forget. Grenade spamming and all around random grenade use gets you kills, but when you don't use them you are far more effective... I've spectated you enough to know that when I see you switch to grenades I know you are about to die, and you do it frequently despite gunning your way out of crazy odds repeatedly when you have your primary armed.

There was a great example of you being more engaged in the results of others gameplay over your own last night... you left Mike's back without telling him and the enemy shot him AND someone else in the back. Yet you go to lengths to tell us not to move when we guard you without warning you, but NO ONE leaves anyone's back without saying "hey I'm moving up"... no one... well... hmmm... Mike could think of someone :) ...and that's OK, we all do dumb stuff... it's just the repeat nature of it in regards to M67's that turns it into a joke for the rest of us.

Put yourself on a 1 month grenade restriction. You'll get a lot more kills and no teamkillls and we will have forgotten all about it by the end of the month. It will also get you out of the mindset of relying on grenades for every decision. Also, you may get to experience the frustration of being TK'd when you had an enemy beaten with your rifle a couple dozen times. It'll do ya good!

I don't think your play is bad in any way shape or form, I just think everyone picks on it because it is so common for us to see you make really bad grenade-oriented decisions... even when they DON'T cause TK's, if you weigh the amount of times your grenade usage causes no enemy damage vs killing one of us or gets you shot. Grenades are great tools in certain situations... but there's a reason you carry scores of bullets and only a few grenades... because they are more useful than guns in only a scant few situations.

                    *added later
A 1 month grenade restriction will get everyone off your back. Why not make a deal on it?

                    Like this:

I, Jim Jam, do voluntarily put myself on grenade restriction for 1 month, but only if you guys agree to stop picking on me.

@ Keyser...Seems reasonable. I do have to think about it. I did put myself on nade restriction a while back but the bottle...I mean the nades was to attractive.

Exactly, if you switch out nades for claymores and smoke only, you'll enter a whole new world of addiction. I personally am still looking for a C4 kill. Hasn't happened yet.
