Just signed up for the GoW 3 Battalion. I'm new to the XBox online clan thing, but have been in a few before on the PC for games like BF2 and MW1 and 2, oh and planetside. heh.

Anyway, just wanted to drop a note and say hi to you all and hope to see you guys in the coming days.

Besides Gears out of curiosity what other 360 games if any do you play? You said you played BF2 and WM1 & 2 on the PC, we also have a BF3 Battalion starting up and a large group of MW3 players too.

Most FPS' I play on the PC, although I am playing MW3 on the PS3 of all things heh. Friend at work talked me into it. Let's see Recently been playing Space Marine on the XBox, picked up Rage but haven't really played it yet. Also just picked up Ace Combat: Assault Horizon for cheap. Wasn't much of a console gamer until recently to be honest. Played the GoW franchise and of course Halo, but usually played with friends and didn't really do any multiplayer.

So figured I would go ahead and dive in here ;)

I prefer playing with a good group of folks then solo playing. So I figure if I enjoy it here then I will most likely break down and buy more games for the systems I have... and to be honest my typical experiences with the 12 year old rage gamer on xbox live has spoiled my initial impression on gaming online with a console ;)

Well we definitely have a good group here, the PS3 guys play SOCOM, Warhawk and Battlefield 3 as well.

Yup I'm a complete gaming geek ;) I have a Wii and a PC too. ;) I'll shoot you an invite, I only really play MW3 on the PS3 currently since I play with a workmate, but I'm open to new avenues. Are you guys playing Socom 3 or 4? Also took a look at Warhawk, I thought it was something else and when I looked at it tonight I thought of the older Crimson Skies game.

We used to play Socom 3 back in the day :). I think the PS3 guys play Socom Confrontation still. I'm not sure. I don't think you can add friends on playstations website I think. Worth checking out though.

Well we thing you have in common with I think it is safe to say all of the 360 guys, and I am sure the PS3 group as well, is a strong dislike for 12 year old cry babies. lol

To the best of my knowledge you can only add friends via your PS3. If you join one of the PS3 practices, you can simply send friend invites to everyone during the practice. This will save your from typing everyone's id. This week's practice attendance is looking like it will be low due to the holidays. But your are still welcome to attend any practice.

Socom Confrontation is on Tuesdays.
BF3 is on Wednesdays.
Warhawk is on Thursdays.

Just let us know if you'd like to attend one and we will be sure to get you the details.

I'll hold off on jumping on the PS3 group for now. Let me get through the Gears of War 3 screening first ;) I don't want to overdo it right from the start. Rather concentrate on one game right now, and then I'll go hog wild ;) Although I am interested in BF3, although currently only have that for the PC ... heh

GoW definitely needs to be your primary focus. That group and it's officer will be responsible for guiding you through our membership process. They will be the group to provide the evaluation for membership.

However, we do like to let recruits know they are always welcome to jump into any game with the DSA brotherhood. A handful of us play with the Xbox and PS3 division. We tend to make one platform our primary due to time constraints, etc.
