    It's been a looooooooong time...

Wow it has indeed been a very long time since I have been gameing, and an even longer time since i've been on this forum. With the whole college application process well underway, school, girlfriend, soccer, life, and a broken ps2 there just hasn't been much time for gameing. But, I have recently purchased a new ps2 and I've been having some more free time latley so I figured I would drop on by this forum and inform all of you that I intend to rejoin my former DSA buddies! Unfortunatley, I just got done looking over the current clan roster and I only recognized a very few familiar names. So, for those of you who remember me, I'm back, and for those of you that don't whatever, u'll know me soon enough. I just want everyone to know that I do intend to be involved regularly but that may be difficult for the next couple months as I do still have a lot going on. All of that aside i will always be available late night and I plan on a successful DSA return. Wow it feels good to be back my friends.

ps. any of you guys still playin SOCOM?
    YEAH TOAST!

Toast! Good to see you, buddy.

5-Star, who was in JLA under a diff name, is heading up our recently founded socom3 division. Many guys have never played the game before, so they are just trying out---more of us haven't played in several months.

As for DSA itself, a lot of old timers drop back in for little stints (Frell, Speedo, etc), but we have a good group of people...even picked up one of your old clanmates in Kamui--but the guy just wont stop talking!!!

It's a good roster of people here and we have a lot more organization than what we had before, allowing for a lot of good stuff to happen in the clan and outside.

For those of you who don't know, Toast was the US leader of a UK-based clan called ARSE. They were a very laid back clan in swbf1 and tried to stay above the fray of all the drama and BS that many of the other clans seemed to get involved in. We always seemed to see eye to eye with ARSE.

When it seemed that their US division was disappearing, TOAST was welcomed into DSA and he played socom2 with our DSA spinoff clan. TOAST left under completely friendly terms when he found that there were still ARSE members out there playing.

For swbf2, it appears that ARSE (which has a LOT of UK members) lost steam in the US. As a result, we were fortunate enough to have Kamui join our ranks. And now it appears that TOAST is back as well.

The socom3 thing is getting geared up, Toast and more players are getting interested in it. Did you ever figure out your mic issues in that game? I thought your mic didn't work for sc3. Anyway, welcome back. Good to have you aboard. PM Ratix to make all the necessary arrangements.
You're the best! Around! Nothings gonna ever keep you down!

I am not sure if we will be having socom3 be a standalone division in terms of players not being part of the broader DSA just yet. It may move in that direction, but for now, we really want to make sure that the strength of the community and kinship that clanmembers feel not get diluted by another game just yet.

So I think, at least to start, we will try to keep swbf2 membership as a pre-requisite to socom3 membership. SWBF series has been the backbone of the clan--I don't want the other games to splinter us yet. Of course, this is Ratix's call, but I think for now we will be a SWBF2 clan that is getting into socom3.

So TOAST will need to be part of swbf2 in order to be DSA in socom3 in my opinion. TOAST, PM Ratix about how he wants you to proceed for reinstatement.

What name were you on battlefront 1 NORM :P ?I know I fought alot of good people during those times. It seems the battles appealed to me more during those times.I probably came across you a few times on the field when I wore the <ARSE>Kamui tag.I know I hurt alot of people on the field, but to show them im not kidding and that im out to challenge 8) .

Now that I think about it Battlefront was interesting because of the AI that would be wandering around at times. They added the fun factor in the battles.

Sorry went off topic.I'll be there for your tryout TOAST man.

I am glad to see a bunch of older members come back to meet them. I played in those servers and others just as SHOCKER101 and that was it I believe.
