Welcome to the site, Mr. Snipe.

If you are interested in a tryout, please read the Code of Conduct (link in the menus at the left) and sign up for a tryout. A tryout conductor should contact you via PM on the site concerning potential times and then will post on the site when tryouts will occur.

Our tryouts are typically focused on Conquest---but only marginally skill focused. Mic etiquette, teamwork, leadership, and maturity are the attributes that we hope our recruits display.

If you have any questions, you can PM me or any other DSA, including taco.

Cool. Please be patient. We have had some difficulty in getting tryouts done recently due to scheduling conflicts. Hopefully we can get this all righted this year.

Thanks. Oh by the way i forgot to add o my discription that i am also a verteran of the game, a founder of JSA, and also dedicated socom 3 playa.

Prior clan involvement in always useful for us to know. JSA--I remember the name, but since I haven' done much public room playing in years, you'll have to forgive me for my ignorance. What happened to the clan and how big was it?

Also, if you are interested, we have a recently formed socom3/CA ( we are encouraging everyone to upgrade to CA) division within DSA. We have about 20 active members and have not done recruiting to those outside the DSA fold (other than personal friends of current DSA). This way, people who are new to the socom world (or never really got into it) can get up to speed). If you are interested, let us know. Even if you aren't interested in joining the division, tell us when you are on and we can add you to the friends list and play. Right now we have organized practices on Wed nights at 9pmEST and most nights at least 4-16 of us are on.

JSA made it up to about 30 or 40 members and it is still around just not as big as it used to be. Socom 3 is what i play seeing as most of the maps are also on combined assault. I would have to say my best weapons on Socom are M87ELR, Model 18, 9mm pistol, and the M14. I can also use shotguns pretty well on socom. My sniping on that game is also much better than it is on battlefront 2. So basically yes i am intersted in the socom part too

I highly encourage you to pursue our Socom division as well. Even if you don't have CA, we have some guys who don't so our practice nights involve s3 maps. CA is awesome though. The new maps kick butt. Welcome aboard, and I too loved Advent Children. That's what they should be doing with CG, not making talking car movies.
