    No Headset? No Tryouts!

DSA requires that you have a headset to tryout to become a member of the clan. If you currently do not have a headset, please consider buying one.
The going price for a headset is 25-30 bucks.

If you don't plan on owning a headset anytime soon, then you should plan on waiting to get a tryout until you do.

Not "bogus". Games like BF, SOCOM, Halo, any shooting game where you need to go whats going one, a headset is important to victory. I always use my headset in SWBF. I never use it in games like Madden or MVP Baseball, where the sole purpose of the headset is to distract the opponent into screwing up.

Now see says that she talked the the "Atorney General" (yeah, right) and she said that he said online gaming is bad. Period. She thinks I'm playing against some weridos (sorry about that, but I think she is wrong). Now I can't play anymore. What should I do? I think I'm screwed! :x

P.S. She thinks she knows all. Anyone else have a mom like this or am I the only one?

Well, let me tell you this. I'm 15. My dad doesn't like me talking online. However, he knows that I only talk online playing Battlefront, so he thinks its just command stuff when I play. However, he does not allow me to talk online playing MVP unless, of course, it's with one of my friends.

And it's only three more years I have to put up with it. And I never really talk online anyways.

                  Nash-

Your mother has your best interest in mind, as wrong as she might be. The Attorney General DOES NOT.

Curious...is the Attorney General a friend of your mothers? Or does Mother go around talking to strangers about her son talking to strangers?

Having a mic for an organized online games is a no brainer. Your parents are just trying to protect you. YES, there are weirdos out there online, but then again there are weirdos living in you hometown too. I can understand your frustration. Unfortunately, if your parents don't think you are mature enough to handle online gameplay, then maybe you should wait to join an online clan until you are older. Don't worry, online games will be around for a long time, when you get older you will have a chance to participate. Good luck.

IRight on coleslaw, I know theres ALOTT of wierdos in Mi. too(have you seen dirt's picture), anyway nash dont trip about your mom trust I know people who's moms are a lott more off than that so just relax & chill out for a while and devise a stratagy to get her to change her mind.As for getting a headset I traded in two games that were collecting dust & a used one is only like $15 as long as its a decent game you should be able to get decent credit for it. Good luck homie-e
