    Website Unavailable - WebHost Error

For those wondering why the website was unavailable today and apparently continues to have problems. The web host stated there was a corruption in the hard drive for the server our site is hosted on. Why a single hard drive corruption would cause the site to be unavailable all day is anyone's guess. I would hate to think that the web server is relying on a single Hard Drive with out any RAID, Mirroring or redundancy at all to prevent such downtime.

Either way, we will be working on an alternate means of mirroring the website to prevent this day long blackout from occurring again.

believe it or not---that is a more recent phenomenon. His IT knowledge is more out it being a HOBBY which has since become a JOB. Crazy, huh?

You think that is true for every job? Pro athlete. Porn Star. seem like two examples where it could still be quite engaging as a job. I think IT professional is almost the same thing!

Pro athlete, the game would probably get boring to me after awhile.
Porn Star, would NEVER get boring.
And for some reason I don't see IT professional being as fun as a porn star.

My interest in computers started in 8th grade with a computer science class. I had an awesome teacher. I took 3 years of it. Got a good internship doing database programming for this company:

After 3 months of the most mentally draining work I've experienced to date, I decided it was not for me. I found building, upgrading, and hardware support to be much more enjoyable. Now I just build the occasional computer for friends. Same with wrenching on cars. I just don't want to do it everyday.

                    My dream job=Mail Man. 8)
