    iTunes UnInstall Help Needed

My iPhone is not syncing correctly with my work computer. I think it started when I installed the iCloud on my work computer only to find out iCloud does not work properly with Window XP (which is my OS on my work computer).

I tried to fix the settings to go back to the manual way of syncing via the iPhone cord, but it just is not working.

So I plan to just unistall iTunes and all the other Apple software as I read you need to do to prevent issues when reinstalling iTunes. The problem is I only know how to unistall from the Windows Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs.

iTunes is listed, but the "REMOVE" button, simply does not show up like it does with other programs. I installed iTunes so it is not a program that the Corporate Administrator Only can remove.

I have also tried to go to Start/All Programs/iTunes > right click "Delete" and nothing happens.

Does anyone have any suggestions on another way to unistall iTunes? I have found somethings on the internet that suggest downloading additional software programs that will aid in removing problematic programs, but I am leary of downloading programs I am not familar with as this is my work computer.

...So live, that when thy summons comes to join
    The innumerable caravan, which moves
To that mysterious realm, where each shall take
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night,
Scourged to his dungeon, but, sustained and soothed
By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave
Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch
About him, and lies down to pleasant dreams.

Thanks Boss, but as I stated the "Remove" button is not appearing when I select iTunes from Start/Control Panel/Add-Remove. I can select iTunes but the "Remove" button does not appear as it does with other programs. So that is not an option and why I am looking for another way.

I assume you have some sort of admin rights to your computer (shame on the IT department for that) here are two things you can try and by try I mean at your own risk.

This KB covers how to uninstall software when the uninstaller does not work.
Describes how to troubleshoot problems that occur when you install, uninstall, or upgrade a program on a Windows-based computer by using Windows Installer.

Also there is CCleaner that has an option to clean out old registry items. Again use at your own risk. I have not had any issues with ccleaner but I don't know your IT environment
Try CCleaner Professional for free. Clean up your PC automatically and increase your performances and online privacy.

        Good luck

        Colclazure: "No, sir."
Thrawn: "Anyone can make an error, Ensign. But that error doesn't become a mistake until you refuse to correct it." [points at Pietersen, Rukh kills him] "Dispose of it. The error, Ensign, has now been corrected. You may begin training a replacement."

Revo Uninstaller has a great freeware version that i've been using for years. You can set it up to look really deep too. It's helped me out quite a bit!
