I was told there is something wrong with the encrypting on the device, so for a split second I would lose connection from the device (hence the error on PSN). What's mind blowing about this is the fact that my ISP is aware of this issue, but still distributes these modems to customers...
Good news though, I went ahead and got me another modem/router last night and everything works fine now (no errors, no disconnects, etc). I'm glad I did because I would still be waiting for my ISP to deliver the one I was supposed to get YESTERDAY. Plus the modem/router they were going to give me was an older model than the one I went out and got for myself. I'm just glad this is behind me now. I even went 80-22 on a game of TDM last night in BF3 so it was a good day lol.
