Mine is almost 4 years old if not already. Never stopped on me but yes the clicking is common for everyone.

BF2 is the only game that clicks for me.

And- During practice, it is VERY important that the chatter is cut. When everyone is talking (even if it's only 4 or 5 people) there is an even greater chance of the servers crashing.

there seem to be so many bugs, thats good to know i thought my ps2 wasn't screwed up with all that clicking crap. i hate the music skipping and invisi-lasers but we'll have to deal with it untill the patch.

Various reports from Jack Stiles at Sonic Army report this:

This is from the "NEWS" section at BlackBagOps:

          Tuesday, 6 December 2005

I have compiled a list of reported problems with SWBF2SM and started working through each issue today. I'll be working with Pandemic this week to resolve what issues we can and I hope to be able to make a public release within a fortnight.

          AND ALSO THIS:

Kevlar posted about his "test server":
I was testing CSV logging when Anikal and his buddy were in the server. This function logs player statistics at the end of each game for later parsing by a 3rd party program. The program will usually read the player stats into an SQL database and generate many varied and interesting stats from this information in a webpage. CSV logging was widely used in the early days of BFSM (for Battlefield 1942) and should prove popular with SWBF2 clans and ladders everywhere.

          12/9:
Fear not, this bug has already been fixed. We are making great progress and the next release will definitely be worth the wait.

          12/10:
Thanks for the offers to help but we've already found and fixed this bug.

All known issues have been resolved and we're currently stress testing the (hopefully) final beta build on a live test server.

So hopefully, there is a patch by the 20th, or 8 days from now.

          Hopefully...

hi ratix and thank you very much for directing me here. now my problem is that most of the time whenever i join a pc deticated server game, which in mosh of the case is a dsa server, as soon as i start the game stops and says "connection from host lost" and then takes me off of the game. my router is netgear, my system is a psthree, and my home computer is a mac, which i don't think matters much.. what should i do? i wish to play with dsa and show what i can do! ^^ moreso when i get a headset :P

Hahahahahaha. If you are using a Ps3, why are you trying to join the clan on an outdated game. Check them out on Warhawk bud, thats my advice to you. And if you read through the CoC, you would have noticed that it is a requirement that you have a mic to even get a tryout.
