    Headset problems

Any1 know how to fix a headset that doesnt let you hear anything anymore? At first it was kind of acting like its speakers where blown out which cant have happened cuz its not nearly loud enough, so the sound would cut in and cut out but now i cant hear anything at all. Any ideas?

yeah, for electronics that cheap, it just isn't worth the time.

i had problems with my old one, i just bent it at the right spot (short or something) and it worked, until it totally stopped working 2-3 months later.

This is usually from repeated bending and the wires snap. The wires are really small and hard to work with. Just buy a new. If you can't buy one, I can try to walk you through the repair.

Actually that would be great Madmax cuz im broke and my parents are broke too cuz of bills. I mean i guess i could get money ova time and save up for a new mic but until then that would be cool if u could try and walk me thru repairing it. At this point I have nothing to lose.

Sorry for lagging. I can't find my old broken headset to reference wire colors. I'll try to find a site that has the schematics. Do you have electrical tape? Solder gun would be cleaner but not required. Also something to strip the insulation without damaging the wires. That's the hardest part.
