360 issues

Hey, I can't get online with my 360. Offline is fine but when I try to go live it asks me to choose between my tag and guest and then says I can't log in to live. I do the test and sometimes it fails the Ip address, others it's the DNS. I have checked my router settings, cycled, switched ports...no dice....any ideas?

I have had that happen and I unplugged the cords from the back my Xbox completely. All was well after that. Sounds elementary, but couldn't hurt to try.

is it possible yer xbox gold membership expired or something? i know when mine expired.. it did funny **** like that too.

you can check your xbox subscription at a few places..

I just got my subscription on New Years Eve so I doubt it.

try directly connecting your system to your modem. if it works, then you know its a router issue. if it doesnt work then contact microsoft support 18004myxbox. also u can try a speed test to determine if thats an issue. go here http://www.speakeasy.net/ and click on speed test on bottom right hand corner.

I just replied to Kamui's post dealing with IP and connectioon problems. Try the solutions I posted there and that should help resolve your problem.
