My pc will probably hardwired in the room unless i can get my hands on a build it yourself laptop. Anyone know about MAC address cloning and if that would apply to the 2 routers idea?

Na you wouldn't need to clone the mac address. Basically you would have to disable the routing function so it acts as an access point. Should be an option in the router somewhere."POWER!!! UNLIMITED POOWWWEEEER!!!!!!
