High Ping DSA Jedi

Hi this is Shknobes, some of you may remember me from way back on the Mos Eisley Assault servers. However, I can no longer play because I have really high ping now ( up to 180) and I hate lagging.

I can't figure out why though. Where is the DSA server? I live in Alabama so if its in California I can understand a little lag. I also have high speed cable internet, the turbo package and can download and upload stuff on my computer extremely quickly.

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated. (I lag on all servers but the worst on DSA)

The server is located in a data center in Chicago. Middle (or closest too we could get) of the country to keep pings best for all players. But as we have been moving away form the older gen systems and to the new, we have also been using our server for other applications and servers. This might be why it's worst then other servers for you. Personally I haven't been on SWBFII in a long time, but if any other DSA can verify the server ping (or any noticeable changes in) then we can tell if it's just the load on our server or your connection.

I've been playin a bit recently in jedi. I haven't had much problems with lag. Nothing like it used to be actually. Of course when you have your glitchers setting up wookies in the boat or people hanging out in glitched it tends to mess things up. Perhaps it's that.

Also if you have a router becareful if someone may be stealing your connection or if anybody is sharing a connection with you and downloading alot of things at one time.I think the highest ping in the room affects others connected to the server as well I think.
