Taco, I have a possible solution to your network

There's a new product out called the Powerline AV + Starter Kit made by Belkin for $180. It comes with two Network Adapters that you plug into your elctrical sockets. So you plug one in by the router, plug the Ethernet cord in to that, then plug the second into an outlet near your 360 and plug it into that adapter. Then you'll be streaming your connection through your elctrical wires. According the magazine article, it's super easy to setup and actually shaved a minute and a half off DL time compared to wireless.

Hopefully this could help if you don't have the equipment to manufacture your own lines.

    Tony,

Good looks on that find. Sounds pretty cool. I managed to run the cat5 cable under the floor from the router to my gaming setup so i got everything hardwired. Thanks again thought bro.

I think itsa possibility people on the 360 may wind up getting a PS3( at least a good amount of folks). I know i'm getting one soon because I miss gaming with the other half of the clan :(.

I tried the Netgear powerline adapter and it didn't work with xbox live (a later version did, but not the one I could find). Some of the Belkins work (I have a friend who did his through a powerline adapter from Belkin), but not all. But they shouldn't be that expensive. They should be about $100 or so---that's when I decided to get a wireless gaming adapter that was XBL compatible (and worked with the PS2).

Powerline should be about the same as a decent wireless setup.
You're the best! Around! Nothings gonna ever keep you down!

Yup, I have seen some really high end stuff, but nothing I think anyone would want to spend for gaming...
