    Server Issues

    Hey all.
    I need your expertise.
I cant seem to get my server to work. I downloaded the server software from filefront.com to try to run my own server. The white box comes up with the game info, but i cant seem to find the game ANYWHERE on the ps2 rooms. Ive tried everything, changing everything around, making sure its set to North America etc. I have verizon dsl with a wireless router. Do any of you fine gentlemen/ladies know what could be wrong?
    Thank-you.

Sometimes you have to refresh the server list in order for the room to appear for you...you can also use search filters to single out your game :D

There's a walkthrough posted on this site. Check the "Dedicated Server Setup" link in the Main Menu on the left.
You do have to open some ports on your router. TCP only. Even with the ports open, some ppl still hav mic issues with the 1.1 server software. Just to give you a heads up.

I would like someone to help me. I have tried soo many times and followed the walk through completely.

my goal: I want to create a room for me and my buddies to play from our PS2 version of SWBF. We usually goto rooms that are PC dedicated.

                  My setup:
                  *Windows XP: Static Setup 192.168.0.3

*SWBF Dedicated Server Management from link on this website. I also got the PS2 version

                  *Cable Modem: Comcast

*Linksys Router: Setup to allow Ports: 3658, 3659, 6500 & 27900 to forward to 192.168.0.3(static computer) I only forwarded the ports TCP

                  *Windows XP Firewall Disabled.

Result: Nothing! I cannot see the games when we enter the PS2 Online. Also with Windows Firewall enbaled, I set firewall to allow SWBF. It poped up by itself to allow or block and I allowed.

Is there something I'm missing. We just wanna play without the cheese

                  Thanks

Scythe and I have spent the greater part of the last day trying to get it up. We can't get our ports to open something like that.

If all else fails, you can try to DMZ the PC that the server is runnin on.

Ratix, I also need help with setting up the server. I downloaded what I needed, but when I try to download a patch for it so I can choose the amount of reinforcements and other features. It says there was no MSVBVM60.DLL file detected, I would appreciate it if you could help me out with this.
